HERE'S A LOOK AT HOW WE HANDLE PUPPY INQUIRIES, COMMUNICATION, AND PLACEMENTS!​

 INQUIRY COMES IN FROM POTENTIAL OWNER

• We receive your phone call or email 

  • We will conduct a scheduled interview over the phone to:

    • Educate potential owners on the breed 

    • Make sure you are a good fit for one of our pups

    • Discuss our breeding program and litter plans

    • Add you to our wait list for an upcoming litter 
       

    • DEPOSITS ACCEPTED 

    • You may submit a $1,000 non-refundable deposit. This deposit does not hold a specific puppy for you, but guarantees your spot on our list as puppies become available. 

    • At this point, we will consult with potential homes about what genders preferences may exist, but cannot guarantee the number of males or females in a given litter. 
       

1. A FEMALE IS PLANNED TO BREED AND GOES INTO SEASON; WE BREED THE DOGS 

• When we have a litter planned, all potential owners on our wait list will be notified via email. 

 

2. ULTRASOUND POST BREEDING​

• Once we have had a successful mating, our females receive an ultrasound between 30-35 days of pregnancy to confirm that we are expecting puppies!

 

3. XRAY TIME!

•  

• We visit our reproductive vet around 2-3 days prior to the litter due date to shoot an X-ray. This will help confirm the number of puppies in the womb, so we can prepare best for a safe delivery!

4. WHELPING AND REARING 

•  

• Once puppies are born, we will know what the gender split of the litter is. Sometimes there are more males - and other times there are more females. 

• Updates for puppies including their weights, photos, training videos, and notes will be shared to prospective owners 
   

5. CONFORMATION & TEMPERAMENT ASSESSMENT 

• Between 7-8 weeks of age, puppies are evaluated for physical attributes and structure, as well as temperament. At this point, we will know which puppies go into a potential show home, and which would be better suited structurally as a performance prospect or pet. 

 

6. PUPPIES GO HOME! 

• You will receive AKC paperwork, shot and veterinary records, a puppy care package, training handbook, and will need to sign our contract when you pick your puppy up. The remaining balance of the puppy is due prior to pickup/delivery. Owners are responsible for any cost associated with transporting of the pup. We provide mentorship, guidance, support, and training assistance for the life of you and your pup!
